At 10.30am on Monday 11th August, at the Backwell Lake end of the path that leads from The Perrings to the Lake, there will be a gathering by the newly constructed steel barrier to show the strength of community feeling about the blocking of this route that is much used by commuters, school pupils, dog owners and walkers. Local residents are warmly encouraged to attend. Photos will be taken and posted on social media and in the press.
